Pocket Breeze 4.3 Beta 3

Remember the Beta I mentioned a few news posts back... well they're back for a third round. SBSH announces Pocket Breeze 4.3 Beta 3. I'm so behind the times, I'm still on beta 1.

Did I mention how much I love Pocket Breeze? Because I do! From what I've seen of the first beta, it's incredibly awesome. First and foremost, the text is clearer, so it's easy for everyone to read. Those VGA icons give us more of an excuse to show off our VGA display. I also dig the "custom today tab" which gives a space for all those useless today plugins I use some of the time, but can't seem to uninstall. And since they're on their third beta of something that isn't even a full version number, you know they put a lot of effort into this!

Pocket Breeze, makes me feel fine (I'm sorry.. I had to do it!)

Looks neat. I'm just getting the hang of my first PPc and these Today plug-ins look cool. I do have a question. I've also downloaded wisbar and Magic Button for demoing (but haven't installed either yet). Is Pocket Breeze inteneded to work along side wisbar or M.B, or would it be a either/or sort of thing?

Thanks!
Aaron

Wow, they're onto three and I only got 2 installed a couple days ago. Well, here goes 3! PocketBreeze is awesome.

PocketBreeze brings your PIM data to your Today screen in a highly customizable manner. MagicButton is a task manager. They serve different purposes. I use (and highly recommend) both :approve:

WisBar and MagicButton overlap - they both let you manage running apps. Wisbar also does skinning (and introduces the hazards that go with it!)

Pocket Breeze displays appointments, tasks, etc. on the Today Screen.

Similar- but meant to enhance...I have both pb and pi- pb just puts the info from- and access to- pi on my today screen in a clear, easy to use format.
BTW- have wisbar, too- would highly recommend it, as well. ~Anne

Would Pocket Breeze be like using SPB Pocket Plus? I have been using it for a while now and thought maybe of switching up for some variation.

Actually, I use Pocket Breeze WITH SPB plus. Two very good plugins.

But... if you wanted you could integrate SPB Pocket Plus into Pocket Breeze. The possibilities are endless.

I have only a slight issue with this new update...

Some of the "notes icons" following a task or a calander item slightly cover the test for that item.

Also if an item falls onto 2 lines it displays over the top of the item below it rather than adding a new line.

Cheers
Adrian

OK this probably belongs over at SBSH forum... but I have never registered there... maybe someone can pass this along?
