Microsoft Mobile MVP - Way to go!

Congratulations goes out to Chris Leckness for making Microsoft MVP. Chris has worked long, tireless hours bring to the Pocket PC community Aximsite and iPaqHQ. On top of that add SEC Talk, DellDJ and the new PSPsite. How he does it I do not know.

Allbeit this recognition is well deserved. Congratulations on your appointment! :approve:

Congrats Chris! You're a celebrity now! (Someone roll some Brad Paisley music!)

Someday I'm gonna be famous,
Do I have talent, well, no.
These days you don't really need it,
Just make sure your website doesn't blow!

Can't wait to date Tina Wood,
Can't wait to sue Bill Gates.
Can't wait to wreck my server
On my way to rehab....

Cause when you're a tech celebrity,
it's adios reality,
You' can act just like fool
people think your cool
just cause you got a pocket pc.
I can throw major fits
When my ipaq isn't just how I like it
They say I've gone insane,
I'll blame it on the fame,
And the pressures that goe with
Being a tech celebrity.

I get to cry to Michael Dell,
When things don't go my way.
I'll get everything for free
No matter which part I break.

I'll make the pda tabloids,
They'll email some awful stuff
But the more they run my name down,
THE MORE MY PRICE GOES UP!

Cause when you're a tech celebrity,
it's adios reality,
You' can act just like fool
people think your cool
just cause you got a pocket pc.
I can throw major fits
When my ipaq isn't just how I like it
They say I've gone insane,
I'll blame it on the fame,
And the pressures that goe with
Being a tech celebrity.

So let's hitch up the Mustang and head out west
To the land of fun in the sun
We'll be real world geeks
Jackass Millionaires
Hey, Hey, Hollywood
Here I come!

Cause when you're a tech celebrity,
it's adios reality,
You' can act just like fool
people think your cool
just cause you got a pocket pc.
I can throw major fits
When my ipaq isn't just how I like it
They say I've gone insane,
I'll blame it on the fame,
And the pressures that goe with
Being a tech celebrity.

An MVP who's not taking steroids -- awesome! ;)

BTW, I didn't know what "Microsoft MVP" meant, so I looked it up:
http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/

Here's the text of the "What is an MVP"?:

The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Program recognizes and thanks outstanding members of technical communities for their community participation and willingness to help others. The program celebrates the most active community members from around the world who provide invaluable online and offline expertise that enriches the community experience and makes a difference in technical communities featuring Microsoft products.

MVPs are credible, technology experts from around the world who inspire others to learn and grow through active technical community participation. While MVPs come from many backgrounds and a wide range of technical communities, they share a passion for technology and a demonstrated willingness to help others. MVPs do this through the books and articles they author; the Web sites they manage; the blogs they maintain; the user groups they participate in; the chats they host or contribute to; the events and training sessions where they present, as well as through the questions they answer in technical newsgroups or message boards.

Microsoft MVPs are simply an amazing group of individuals. We are excited to recognize and award MVPs as our way of saying "thank you" for their demonstrated commitment to helping others in technical communities around the globe.
