It seems to be quite the game overload today. And here's another one to the list! Isotope 244 graphics has just released a full version update to their Atomic Cannon game. According to the website, "In this strategic tank artillery duel you battle against computers or friends on 25 different landscapes. Players take turns aiming and firing at each other with over 85 weapons of mass destruction including nuclear bombs."

Mmmm. Sounds like some "explosive" fun. Wasn't there a Windows game similar to this (although much less realistic) a long time ago?

Yeah $19.95 is way too much - I don't think it would keep me interested for very long.

It's an excellent game for time killing, and especially nice if you're with friends on a car trip or something, you can set up multiple human players and pass the PPC around.

However, I wonder about there being an announcement about ver. 2.0 because according to their version history, 2.0 was released March 1, and has been on my PPC since I bought it Mar. 6. I wonder if they just forgot to announce it.

I would go back to playing it every now and then. Though I Think $10 would have been a better price.

I tried to download it when my Axim was in the cradle but it would not locate the device so I could not try it out. Usually real easy to download stuff, this site NOT

It's a really fun game. I just wish I could play the original Scorched Earth on my Axim... Maybe I'll need to try to get DosBox working....
