great, just got my x50v yesterday, more testing for me. If I do a hard reset, will it go back to A02?
update: it fixed my BT problem when I send a file from computer to axim, the transfer bar freeze around 80%.

Props to you for being the first to find it...
Awesome news that they finally fixed that WLAN/Bluetooth issue... although I was half hoping that they wouldn't be able to do it with the alloted 64MBs of memory... and would be forced to give everyone 128MB upgrades. Oh well... better than nothing :-)

No.. It will go back to a clean A03.... There was an option to backup the Rom in the upgrade to A02.

seems like OZvga is not compatible with this rom update. I have a clean install, and tried to install OZvga, doesn't work after applying VGA. Nothing else in the pda.
Not saying that every machine will be like this, but just a heads up. But again, I have nothing else but OZvga.....so...

Oooh, what is this "Improved the frequency change mechanism of 2700G" and what does this "Updated 2700G display driver" bring or enhance?
I really don't want to take the time again. I'll wait this time and see what others are saying before attempting this upgrade.

Are Australians waiting for it to be shown on the Australian Website or are you all using the US version? (I doubt there is any difference...)
Cheers

The update is 'like' reformatting your pc and re-installing windows again. So you have to put all your apps back on. If you use sprite backup you can restore your setup onto the new setup... but I'll probably use it as an excuse to do some spring cleaning instead

Theres no UK english either... I think there may be some difference in the WiFi channels that are available between the UK and US so i'm going to hold on a few days till i have a version that spells colour correctly :)

LOL, yep :)
I was actually just looking at the Australian and US A02 updates and the file names (ie. the revision numbers) are the same. Hmmm... I might do as you suggest and wait for a bit too. Colour is important!

I shouldn't think so. It will tell you in the documentation after you download it anyway.

It says in the documentation you can use Backup fine, but it recommends that you reinstall programs to ensure full functionality with the new updates.
