Is this actually any use? Are the tips of any use to users who are reasonably knowledgable, enough to use MemMaid and suchlike (but not necessarily enough to know how to spell "knowledgable" :) ).
i did a review of version 1.0 that you can check out here. it is a useful piece because it is always with you . . . it may not be useful to the power user who can hack his/her registry. like all software . . . some will love it and some will find no need for it, imho. :)

Suggestion = Pass, it is not worth the money, I own version 1.0 that I got on a nearly free deal with Handango, but after 2-3 min of looking it was unintalled, no great value unless you are totally new to PocketPC's or have trouble searching for answers online.

Is there a good registry hacking site around? I have seen a few, but haven't found one that covers all of the things that say Tweaks2k3Net can accomplish.
For example, I used it to brute force VGA mode for an application (NetHack), and that remains in force, even though the application was used in trial mode and is no longer installed.
So I am presuming this is a registry hack - perhaps with an additional bit of software that remains after uninstall... but where is the registry hack?

ditto...
i have version 1.0 - and it was a complete waste...
just spend time in PPC forums like Aximsite, and you could actually write your own "Tips and Tricks"
PS: it would also seem like a marketing ploy to sell apps - after each tip they usually provide a recommended app to get...

It's actually both. I agree that it's mainly going to benefit a newbie, but the information and the tweaks are pretty decent. As hard as it may be for us to believe, there are a lot of people out there who would like to do more with their PPCs, but who don't enjoy (or want to spend the time) reading posts here at Aximsite. :)
It's not the price that gets me. It's the space it takes. Space on Device - 4.1MB. It must have a lot of pictures of something, cause I don't see that little bit of text is using up that much space.

Good list of tweaks (including for example the date / title bar display) although some are for old OS versions I think; on the same site you can also download PHM's reg editor, and a few other utilities:
