that probably best describes how I use email as well.

I seldom respond or create on the PPC... I have occasionally go to webmail, but that is only when really bored

I use the PPC for email on a daily basis, several times a day. I use Exchange Activesync to get my work emails, and sync first thing in the morning so I can check emails on the train journey to work and so have cleared most by the time I get there. If I'm out and about during the day I sync via WiFi hotspots or BT connected mobile phone, essentially using it as a Blackberry type device. I sync at the desktop during the day at work and again check and reply to any outstanding emails on the train on the way home, syncing again via WiFi when I get home.

At home I use POP3 or IMAP to check several personal email accounts. I have a PC but most email is checked using the PPC, with the PC only being used to finally download the emails from the server. One annoyance with WM2003SE is that I don't seem to be able to delete messages from the server using a send/receive. They go from the PPC but still end up downloading to the PC where I have to delete them again. with previous editions I could tidy up the server mailbox and only download to the PC those emails I wanted to keep.

So yes, I use email on the PPC a lot!

Nick
