Software that plays m4a audio

I have riped a significant amount of music using ITunes. Is there a player for the pocket pc that can play m4a files

M4A is a bogus file extension invented by Apple to indicate an MP4 file containing only audio data. TCPMP can play your files but there is a catch, if they are AAC encoded - which they will be - then you need to download a separate plugin from Rarewares as the developer has removed it from his site due to legal issues.

I hate to sound stupid but what do I do after I've downloaded and extracted the rarewares file you listed above. I'm real new to this and I just want to listen to songs I purchased on itunes.
Better yet, is there somewhere else to purchase songs in a format that is easier to get into Axim? I have no intention of purchasing an ipod, not when I already have the x50v.

rickms is not talking about iTunes purchases here which are DRM protected he is talking about music ripped using the iTunes software. The info you are looking for is in this thread.
