BetaPlayer won't play ogg vorbis embedded in Videos

I have encoded a video with 640x480 resolution, audio is Ogg Vorbis at 160 kbps. It runs fine on my laptop, but when I run it in BetaPlayer on my X50v, there is no sound.

Any idea whats going on?

Thanks

Are you using BetaPlayer or TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player)?

BetaPlayer was renamed TCPMP and updated a little while back. It's "About" page on CoreCodec says it should be able to handle ogg files.

I am using betaplayer.

Before trying to play this video, I had installed TCPMP, but it did not play the audio, so I went back to betaplayer. That did not work either.

Sorry aximix. I'm not sure what else to suggest. I don't think I've ever personally had a video with ogg encoding.

Did you try downloading the vorbis plugin for TCPMP?

Also, what is the extension of the file you are trying to play?
