Converting DVDs to MPG for DivX Viewing on an X3
I've used XMPEG to convert a DVD to .mpg for viewing on my X3, but the file size for a 90 min film was 315MB. I've read you should be able to reduce them to 130MB or so for 90 minutes... and "reduction technique" advice out there? Any programs (preferrably freeware, I'm cheap!) that work better than XMPEG?
Thanks... | |||||

Fairuse if free and pretty awesome. You can set the file size to whatever to want. I have 4 movies on my 1 GB SD and they look great at 256MB per movie.
