Does TCPMP work with Windows Media Encoder?

I finally can use Windows Media Encoder! Everything works...however, I forgot to try out TCPMP yesterday. Could I use TCPMP or is media player my only option when recieving my TV streams? I believe media player will only work but I want to make sure...;)

it will, but try using an ip address instead of the http://yourcomputer:port format! I was using tcpmp and wme to stream from itunes, but i am using wifitunes now. hope it helps!

Under direct connection url's,both internet and lan urls are my computers name.

What IP address would I use?

Either should work fine but stick to the numeric address, it should be a private address, either 192.168.x.x, 172.16.x.x or 10.x.x.x

It looks like it's picking up the stream (wifi light going crazy) but there is no video or audio and it freezes.

I am now using the latest unstable vresion...

Does the same thing but I was able to get out of it before it froze

Well it works with using the computer name so I will just do that...

I don't get it... Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

is your data rate low enough for your computer setup to stream it or is your computer fast enough
