TCPMP - No full screen ?

Hi guys, just bought a x50v a week back, and have been scouring aximsite day and night to tweak my x50v. everything from ozvga to obscure useful apps. kudos for such an awesome forum with excellent members!

well to the problem. installed the latest tcpmp 0.66 from corecodec a couple of days ago. i can't seem to be able to select 'full screen', be it mp3s or video playing.

anyone has the same problem? i click the full screen icon, it just remains in windowed mode. as such, i can't get screen blanking when i play mp3s in tcpmp.

from my own tests with xcpuscalar, tcpmp uses the least cpu resources (~25%) when playing mp3s, as compared to WMP, GSPlayer, Mortplayer, PM, etc (40th's defunct iplay aside). Thus, i can autoscale 104mhz cpu speed with presumably better battery life while maintaining responsiveness.

Just wondering if maybe i downloaded the wrong version of tcpmp? didn't install any additional plugins (no need for em) besides the main tcpmp program.

disabling xcpuscalar doesn't solve the problem. Perhaps someone more familiar could help? couldn't find any threads on aximsite or tcpmp forums abt this.

That is the correct version. To use full screen just double tap on the screen and it should switch to full screen landscape.

I think it's just you... mine fullscreened perfectly.

Oh, I don't recommend using TCPMP to play mp3s... its playlist interface is not that good compared to dedicated music player like GSPlayer. I use TCPMP primarily for movies (If I ever have enough space for it)

Isn't the full screen just for video? What would be displayed in full screen on a song? Full screen is working perfectly for me for video on an x51v.

full screen in tcpmp while playing songs is susposed to blank the screen (display off) for battery saving.

@#$% well didn't have much luck on it still.

I am fairly new to tcpmp so I wasn't aware of it. Didn't read this anywhere, I'll have to take a look at the site again. I can't get this to work at all like this on my device. Full screen just effects the video playback for me which is what I would expect.

It only goes full screen for videos. MP3s remain the way it normally is.

If it's a widescreen movie sideways is better.
