WMP 10 - Playlist doesn't work, no album art
One of the things that excited me about getting a new Axim x51v is that it would come with the latest version of Windows Media. However, the program has been giving me quite a bit of trouble. First, if I try to play files on a playlist I get an error message. The details claim the file may be corrupt and thus cannot be played. If I use the file explorer and tap of the file, it plays just fine. When I finally get a file playing, no album art shows up. I've manually added art using itunes and itunes has no problem showing album art.

Is there a way to fix this or is there another program that someone recommends that supports album art?

Hi Devastator,
you need to sync using your desktop WM player to make the playlists and album art show up. Open WMP on your desktop, connect your Ax, then go to the sync tab to setup sync. you can sync playlists and the album art should cross over too.

Or...you could just copy the Mp3 to a desired folder on your SD or CF card via Windows Explorer and copy the album art manually. What I do is utilize Google Images for looking up the desired album art (not always I choose the actual album-cover, but sometimes just a picture from a live-gig from a particular band). Then save the image as "Folder.jpg" and copy it to the same folder where the MP3 from that artist resides. Album-Art will alwyas work!

Cheers!

Thanks for the help peeps! Everything is working just fine now that I understood what I did wrong. I was not properly following instructions on how to make things work and now that I have, things are great! No problems with album art anymore. Still, it would have been nice if the program wasn't so buggy.
