Batch Processing WMP Video files (w/sound) for the Axim Pocket PC

1. Step One:

Download and Install Windows Media Encoder

2. Step Two:

Create two (2) Folders/Directories in your root drive named "_PDA_Video_Input" and "_PDA_Video_Output"

Note: The "Dell_Avim.bat" will look for these exact folders; you can modify the .bat file if you want to use different folder names.



3: Step Three:

Unzip the "Dell_Axim.zip" into the "_PDA_Video_Input" folder.



4: Step Four:

Copy any .avi .wmv or .mpg files you want converted to the "_PDA_Video_Input" folder and run the "Dell_Avim.bat". Coverted files will appear in the "_PDA_Video_Output" folder.

This well works for me... But have not tested it on any other systems other then my own. I hope to gain some insight on how it works for others and possible improvements to the process.
