Help! DVD to PPC

Hi, I have been trying to put a DVD on my Axim 5. I have followed several Tutorials with no luck.My Axim is the 300MHz, 32MB With AO2 Rom I have windows media player 8.5.I have gotten the file shrunk to 304M and my home PC recognizes the file but when I transfer to my Axim it says I need to run the application first,then open file from within application. thanx in advance dpence2002

I have no real knowledge of the x5, but what I use is FairUse to convert the DVDs to a .avi file and then watch them on TCPMP. TCPMP is a much better program then WMP, provided you are not trying to play a WM file. Links are in my sig if you feel like giving it a try. Everything is free. Good Luck~

Thank you for the reply I have tried Fairchild,pockectdivx, I have used a trial version of Pocket DVD but the video was choppy. I haven't tried the TCPMP though. Which version are you using. Thanks again FlyACl

I am using version 0.66 form the download section in the link below. I can't say 100%, but this may be a limitation on the x5. But give it a try anyway. If anything will help, TCPMP should. Good Luck~

I have shrunk a dvd down to 128 mb .... I tried about every pcoket player .. the only way to watch these dvd is to upgrade to 2003 .. i use my brother's Ipaq that has 2003 with win media player 9 series built in and its perfect ...

Success I now have a beta player on my X5 and the video is smooth and the audio is great. Thanks for the help Adam.
