Question Quicktime Player on an X50V

Please help ... I have an Axim X50v and I want to play Quicktime files that I've created on my Apple Mac (from iMovie and Elgatto DTT eye TV). If I'm correct in saying, Quicktime is the same as avi and MPEG4 (you can tell I'm a novice!), but I also have Quicktime Pro which can convert to other video formats (h264 etc). I've previously tried converting from Quicktime to WMF but its never worked and too date ... I've not been able to use my Axim for any content I've recorded :o( So if anyone can recomend something that would be great (please be simple when explaining! :) )

Can you compress it with DivX for the codec and make it an AVI file instead of a Quicktime file? If so, you can then use most media players to play the file on both your Ax and any PC/Mac that has VLC (http://www.videolan.org/) installed on it or TCPMP (http://tcpmp.corecodec.com/).
