I just put all the TCPMP stuff in BIS. I'm still using WM2003SE on my Ax. Are you using WM5?

no.. I'm on 2003 SE too. installing with the cab is not a problem. I just like to move the PPC exe (along with the necessary files) straight to my Ax.

TCPMP 0.70 is out - a quick review

The new, 0.70 version of The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP), the best, free multimedia player for both the Pocket PC and the Palm OS platform, has just been released.

I just written a quick review of the new functionality - feel free to read. (Also, make sure you look around in my Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog – you'll find a lot of other, nice info there, I'm pretty sure :) )

I havent tested it yet, but it's supposed (finally) to play wmv video on x50v. I don't use this format but some people do. Unfortunatly aac has been removed from official binaries.

Thanks, I know about the big jpeg problem. The image handling code is quite lame :-)

Has anyone else noticed the following problem:

When the screen is switched off in TCPMP, and when I then stop playback and the OS shuts down automatically after the configured time, I cannot switch my X50v back on. I have to soft-reset.
I would post it on the CoreCodec forum, but I don't know if I am the only one with that problem.

So, can anyone confirm this?

Thanks,

Sascha
