I didn't get a chance to install the new TCPMP yet. It supports album art? AWESOME.

Works fine on a x50v with WM5. Put a jpg of the cover in the album folder and name it cover.jpg.

Works on my x51v using TCPMP 0.71

And my settings, well, they are default settings that are installed with the program. The only album I've tried is a maxi single of Shakira with 3 songs in a folder named Shakira - La Tortura which is on my CF card in a folder called Audio. The picture filename is folder.jpg in lower case. At first it gave me an error about wrong encoding, I opened the picture and resaved it, and it worked fine. I guess it can't decode some advanced jpeg settings that might be used to save some jpg's. Hope that helps.

For some reason, without loading album art directly into the CF card, it shows up anyway. Is it embedded in the mp3? I like this feature, but I am puzzled as to why it is active for me.

Ya, I finally found a song that it works for. Not sure why, but my sister gave me one of her songs and it magically worked. No need for extra image files.

In addition to the cover.jpg method TCPMP also supports album art embedded in ID3v2 tags and Matroska Audio file attachments. The former can be added with programs like Tag & Rename or ID3-TagIT, the latter with MKVToolnix.

It seems that TCPMP can only read the most basic jpeg format--high quality jpeg's saved from Photoshop do not work, but resaving them using MS paint works.

No, tried it, still doesnt work. Only about a quarter of my albums have their artwork display. Ive tried everything including what you just recomended and it still does not work. Their must be some other reason. The artwork displays fine with Conduits Pocket Player 2.6 and Windows Media Player 10. It's obviously the player thats the problem. Hopefully a new update will come along and fix it.

I have an x30. The only album art that shows for me seems to be mp3s with tagged art done or purchased with Musicmatch.
