Nuts. I just noticed this at Core Codec and you beat me to posting it!

Good job!
Move along. There's nothing to read here.

I have to wonder why they don't make the plug-ins cross-version compatible? Every new little tiny update requires you to download an entirely new set. Is this needed? Maybe if they take version information out of them, or find a better schema for knowing what plugins are compatible with what versions.

Anyone have any better insight?

this is what I'd want..

A precompiled binary (zipped) of TCPMP with ALL the plugins (.plg) included. just drop the folder on your Ax and you are done!

Thanks again to picard for all his hard work.

Hi, you need to reinstall all the plugins because Picard optimizes them every version (this is good for performance and bat. life), at least this is what it seems like.

You can get the whole package install from Mabin's site when it's up (he's got a small download limit - currently his site is down). Here's the link anyway (it'll be up next month) http://tcpmp.mabin.info/

I cannot get the TCPMP off my today menu. In the menu setup screen, it says it cannot remove that file. What gives? I haven't tried a re install yet. Soft rest does nothing. Its taking one of my 7 today screen icons.

Can anyone help me?
I have this anime movie file that i play on my Axim X51v, the sound is correct but the video lags whenever there is a fighting scene or a fast action pace movements. The properties of this file is:

Resolution: 640x352
Frame Rate: 23 frames/second
Data Rate: 124kbps
Video Sample Size: 24bit
V-Compression: DivX

I play other anime movie files & they seem to work well without glitch & i check all their properties, it seems the only difference is that they are all 12bit instead of this 24bit. Does the Video Sample Size matters?

What's the difference between between 12bit & 24bit?

Hi, the problem might not be TCPMP, but your clip. See if it plays correctly on your desktop.

If it plays correctly on your desktop play around with settings in TCPMP like the advanced setting "override avi frame rate base on audio".
