Fair Use Wizard

I was wondering what the best settings for Fair Use wizard are, such as the smallest amount of mb's to use for good quality, etc. The first movie I put onto my 1gb cf card was The Incredibles, and it looks and sounds perfect, and it only took 272.39 mb. I also put The Return of the King onto my card, and I tried to experiment and used only 266.12 MB, put it is really bad quality. The sound is good, but it isn't very clear. So, are their any good settings? Like how many Mb's should I use for each hour of movie, etc. Thanks for the help! It is sooo cool to be able to watch movies on my X50v!!! Chris BTW, Fair Use Wizard is the greatest!

There are several people that recommend 100mb per half hour of video and that seems to yield a pretty good quality. You can also keep the bit rate down for the sound. I usually use 96kb/s.

guess that isn't too bad...I'm gonna need to get another 1gb memory card, then. Half of my 1gb card is used for music, and the other half is pretty much empty. But the, I'll only be able to put 1 movie on my card...so need to get another card. not yhet, tho, cuz I just spent alot of $$ on my pda...lol

That is what I use and it works very well! I can usually get two, sometimes three movies on a 1GB card. Good Stuff!
