TCPMP Question

I have a very quick question.
Do I have to install only TCPMP 0.71.setup.exe file, or do I have to install it with tcpmp.arm_ce3.cab file? exe file only installs the software. Wheny and why the cab file is necessary?
Thanks.

The .exe file runs on your computer to install to the Axim. The .cab file is run directly on the Axim.

The exe is a setup program that runs on your desktop, talks to active sync, effectively sends over the cab to the handheld and installs it. The cab is a install file that can run directly on the handheld. The reason the cab is availible is so you can either download it directly on your handheld (using wireless internet or through your network) or so you can send it over from a Mac computer.
