I really like this program but I am wondering if you can use the slider to move far forward in a movie as opposed to just fast forwarding it? AM I doing something wrong?

You can tap and hold the slider and slide it to any position. Alternatively, you can tap anywhere the slider can go and the slider will automatically go to that time position. You have to use your stylus for this.
