Winamp for X51V

Hello,

I just bought my Axim X51V. Do not know the top applications/media players I need. If somebody can help me in pointing the must have appls. and s/w, that will be really great.

Also right now I am playing my cricket in winamp player on my laptop. How can I download winamp for Axim and play my cricket stream on it.

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the site!
There are many threads on what people think are the best apps, utilities, games, etc. Try a search.

My favorite software: PocketBreeze, Pocket Informant, and the 3D games that come with the X51v.
For video I really like TCPMP.

For your question about WinAmp, I don't think there is a PPC version.
However, there is software that mimics and some that even lets you use WinAmp skins.
Software such as http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusic.htm

Thank you for your quick response. I am interested in watching live streaming. I can connect to internet using my X51V.

Now if I install TCPMP and do a open URL and paste my link, will it work the same way it plays (live video) in winamp ??

This is starting to get get depressing....

Unfortunately there is no NSV stream player for PocketPC, VideoLAN for PocketPC can almost [kind of, sort of, maybe on a good day] play some NSV videos but performance is poor.

Dealing with .nsv files

Hi! if you can download the nsv files you can covert them to divx with PocketDivXEncoder quite quickly and easily.

Don't know about the ethics of that though.
