Putting money where mouth is...

After pointing others to the tutorials on how to play music and movies on your Ax I decided to tackle the job for myself. Heck, I've had my x50v for a few weeks now, so I set aside a 7 hour block for these new tasks. My goal was to load 2 mp3s and one 5 minute home movie clip onto my x50v.

10 minutes after I started I was done! It was so easy, and it worked great. I'm not a big fan of pocketdivxencoder b/c it doesn't work too well on my computer, but it did the job.

Anyway, if you've never done either then take it from me. If I can do it you can do it.

Now I have an extra 6 hours and 50 minutes.

With the 2700g chip and VGA screen, why bother encode? TCPMP will play anything you throw at it. With that said, my videos are usually only 320 x 240 because I want to save memory. However, now I'll be putting some nice 640 x 480 or 480 x 272 movies on it. ^^

Cng, you mean to say I could've skipped the encoding! I'm going to try it again w/o encoding and see how it works.
