No. picard_beta is cool with the outside sites hosting the file. We're not hosting it here though.

Question Still No Audio

I have the x50v as well...
I removed all TCPMP programs and plugins...
Downloaded & Installed
tcpmp.setup.0.71.exe
ac3.setup.0.71.exe
ffmpeg.setup.0.71.exe
acc.setup.0.66.exe
from the two sites listed...
Did a soft reset (Button on the back, I believe... HeHeHe)
And still my movie plays, but no sound, speaker or headphones...

Thanks for any assistance...

RJ

When you play the movie on your PC and it works does your player let you look at the properties of the file? Tell us the Audio and Video codec being used with that file and that might help find a solution.

Also, if there aren't any error messages being displayed by TCPMP when you play the file are you sure your Ax isn't muted or the volume turned all the way down?

I open it to play it on WMP and it works great...
Audio Codec: MPEG Layer-3 Decoder
Video Codec: XviD MPEG-4 Video Decoder

According TCPMP on the Ax it is unmuted and the volume I can adjust the volume button all the way up or down with no effect.

One thing, I just copied the .avi file to a SD card to stick it in the Ax... Could there have been a transfer loss?

While, the TCPMP program was not muted, the GIANT speaker icon visible on the TOP of my menu bar was XXXX'd out. Gee Beaver, do ya think that might be the mute/volume icon???

Sorry for wasting your time!

Are you sure you downloadedthe ARM version? There are PALM and SmartPhone versions on their site that won't work with our Axes,
