Where's the best place to download music for my X51v's WM player?

Napster said they weren't compatable, so what would be the best and most economical way to go. I'd like to pay monthly, so I can just spend a month loading up, then cancel and be good to go.

The places that take monthly fees only let you play the music as long as you keep paying the monthly fee.

If you don't want a monthly fee, you'll be better off buying the individual tracks.

Well I believe you want to stay away from itunes because those songs are in a .acc/drm format and will only work with a ipod and the only way you can put your songs on your PPC is to burn a cd of your music from itunes then re-rip your cd's back to your PC in mp3 format which you then could put them on your PPC. If your going to buy music and plan to use it on your PPC you need to buy from one of the stores built into Windows Media Player like the ones in the list seen in the screen shot. All of these stores will be compatible with your PocketPC.

I know Napster says that our Pocket PC isn't compatible, but I got my x50v (running Active Sync 4.1, it didnt work with anything older than 4.0) and Windows Mobile 2003SE to work great with the Napster to Go Service.

The x51v is basically the same except for the OS so it should work. You could sign up for their 7 day free trial to test it. If it doesn't work, then cancel.

I didn't think I would like the monthly fee, buts it not bad. Almost a million tracks to download as part of the subscription, 1.5 million in total available to buy. And you can set up the one account to work with 3 computers and 2 portable devices. So you could share it with a family member. Napster to Go is a great way to sample a tonne of music. If there is something I really want I buy the cd, so (hopefully) I get no DRM crap.

Never heard of it, and i would search very carefully. This is in there smallprint "Sharing is not illegal", i don't know what country this is written in, but i know that sharing music in the USA is illegal. Personally i just buy store cds, there is nothing illegal at all and you get all the nice album art, also if your computer crashs like mine did, you don't lose your own music.
