Question Axim Audio output through composite wires

I have no clue on how to explain this but here it goes. I have speakers built in throughout my house and I was wondering if there was a way where I can attach my dell axim x50v to my house's audio input connection (I attach the composite yellow and red wires from my cd player to this connection so I can play something throughout the house) so I can play its audio files throughout my house. In other words is there some cable I can buy that will help me attach something to my Axim that will help convert its audio signal into the composite wires.

Hi, you can start with a 1/8" <-> composite adapter. It's cheap and works. The only big problem with this is that you will need to turn up the volume to compensate for the fact that the headphone jack does not output line level. I do this with my iPod. If I turn my iPod up all the way, then I have to set my stereo somewhat higher than I normally would, but it comes through nicely.

This is the type of cable -- can get this at Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc... too:

This is a really nice one from Monster Cable

This is a much cheaper one...probably just as good: On Froogle

You can get those wires in both the male rca and the female rcas to suit your needs. Usually the female rca/male 1/8 stereo is about an inch long and cased in plastic.
