Windows Media full screen mode freezes for converted DVD's
I can start and watch my converted DVD movie in windows media but when I switch to full screen mode my screen goes blank and freezes. I then have to soft reset. I'm using Pocket DVD Wizard to convert my DVD's. Yet full screen mode works fine with other wmv files I have downloaded and transferred directly to my SD Card. I thought the problem may be with Pocket DVD Wizard and e-mailed them, to which they said I should download the most recent Update (A04 I guess). Has anyone else experienced this problem with Pocket DVD Wizard or with any other converter for that matter?

Theyre may be a way to fix it, but just use another program called TCPMP. Its free, google it, or find the link here in the forums.

I almost always experience these problems with WMP10. Thats why I just use TCPMP.

Thanks for your responses. I see, so the problem is with the viewer windows media not the converter Pocket DVD Wizard.

I'd make sure that you get the latest and greatest test version just to be sure if you want to play wmv files. There was a problem with previous versions if you had WMP 10 on your PPC. You'll find the latest test version and plugins at:

It does work with WMV files, but not as well as WMP10. I found that all other formats played better on TCPMP except WMV files.
(On WM5)

Reminds me of how WMV files just dont play as well on other media players even for windows XP.
