Transferring music files to SD Card

Hi All,

I'm trying to rip music from my CDs and listen to them from my SD Card on my PDA. The main sticking point is how to transfer many MB of music files to the SD Card. I've tried using SyncToy but I don'w know how to reference the SD Card.

Has anyone got any hints of what combination of shareware or other software works the best for this. I've ripped the files to WMA format using Windows Media on the laptop but then i've spent 1/2 day on the rest and got no where.

Would appreciate any help.

Paul

Just use activesync. When connected click explore (has a magnifying glass over a handheld device). Copy and paste the files. Its very easy once u learn how. It may take a minute.

Use a cardreader... you can do it without one, but they are pretty cheap and will save you sooooooooooooo much time

I set mine up to sync using active sync and windows media player 10. I created an auto playlist that will revolve my music, so I don't have to listen to the same music day after day and I don't have to search for new stuff all the time.

Use MobSync; this will sync between your host PC to your PPC storage card.

I simply connect to my laptop via bluetooth and use windows explorer to transfer my music over to SD and/or CF cards. What software are you using to playing? I prefer MP3 and do not care for media player.

Card reader. For about 300mb, it saves me about 1hr and a half or more.
