No video just audio?

Hi all - I only get audio when I play a file in my windows media player on my X5? I have no problem playing files on my PC. Any ideas out there? Also "web favorites" is greyed out and will not open - should it?

I almost always get the blank screen with only audio when trying to stream.
I think it's the version of wmp used in 2002. I don't want to upgrade to 2003 since it's not compatible with my microdrive.
Is there any way to set tcpmp as the default media player so that when I go to stream, tcpmp will automatically be launched?

I'd also love to find something that will stream winamp files. I'm joined up to streamwired and being able to watch internet tv on the X5 would be sweet! I've tried VLC but I can't figure out how to install it...seems to be source code or something?

Yeah, it's in Options --> Settings --> Select Page --> File Associations --> and tick the appropriate stream type's box Better yet, just tick all the boxes.

Hi - can you go up a few levels please? how do I get to Options --> Settings --> Select Page --> File Associations --> (not sure what menu this is listed under.
I checked the media file that I wanted to play in windows media player -it is a WMV file so there should be no problem seeing video...but still I only get audio. My media player is version 8.5 build 12177. Stil in the dark - /knw
