Google Video to Axim?

Google's announced video store was up and running this morning. Is there a way to view these files on our Axims?

I'd say get the SONY PSP version and use TCPMP and the AAC Plug-in. Haven't tested yet. BRB

I had to update to the latest TCPMP version because that's what most people use and the TCPMP 66a AAC plugin from rarewares. I downloaded "The Internet is for Porn" Sony PSP clip (14.3MB, 3:16) and it plays but it's choppy at the beginning and gets better towards the end. So you can play the Sony PSP clips but I don't have a clue how to play the Windows/MAC versions on an Axim.

To make the Sony PSP clips play smoother I'd suggest Quicktime PRO.

Quite frankly unless Goggle Video Store comes out with better content I'm not going to bother with any conversions.

Welcome to Aximsite fletchdawgg!

I tried Google Video with the options decribed by Don't Panic! The PSP videos play fine.

Has anyone tried to purchase the brand new content from google that started today? Does it give an option to download to PSP? DRM?

Thanks

UPDATE:

Guess not, this if from the Official Google Blog:

"You can play all the videos you download using the all-new Google Video Player. We're especially pleased about the thumbnail navigation for browsing an entire video so you can play any portion with a single click. And there's another thing: if the content is not copy-protected, you can take your favorite videos with you on your iPod or PSP -- our "to go" option."

Google video clips

You say that "PSP clips work fine." They freeze up every couple frames and so really it is unusable. When you say "Get QuickTime PRO" to make them run better...what does that mean? How does that make them run better?

I ran the benchmark in TCPMP on the "Superman Returns" teaser trailer clip (5.27MB 1:33) from the official website and got these results:

Using the same program on "The Internet is for Porn" got these results:

What I meant by get Quicktime PRO is you should be able to use that to reencode for better Pocket PC Playback. In the case of these two files I would (If I were at all interseted in doing so ;))reencode the second one with a lower sample rate for smoother playback.

Ok, thanks, that makes sense. But another question...it seems strange that when I run the file in benchmark mode, the video is PERFECT...but when I try to play the video normally, it freezes up every couple frames and is very choppy. Any guesses as to why that happens??? If only benchmark mode would play the audio as well, I'd be a happy man.

I noticed that too on "The Internet is for Porn". Try the Superman Returns clip I linked to. No dropped frames and smooth playback in both regular viewing and benchmark mode.
