Yahoo Music unlimited on axim x51v

has anyone got this to work with no issues? I use WMP10 to sync certain playlists to the device. The device seems to get to a point where it feels its downloaded too many songs and then spits out various messages either unable to obtain license or unexpected error. either way i have tried to reformat the sd card, hunted the drm license file in windows explorer to try and delete it so that it renews that file.....im still lost. ANY OTHER HELP? it should work right?

It doesn't list the X51v (or any PPC) as compatible.

I have Yahoo Music Unlimited also. One great way to use it is to get a program like this http://www.mp3-wma-recorder.com/
I record the music then put the files on my microdrive in my Axim X51V.
It works great.

Yahoo! Music Unlimited works fine with my Axim X50v. I don't see how the X51v would be any different. When are you getting these errors? If it's an error while downloading the music files to your PC, then the problem isn't with your Axim. Sometimes, I would get these "license" errors while downloading, but then downloads would work fine the next day. When you download the music, can you listen to it on your PC?

If the problems are with the Axim, you could try what an earlier poster suggested and transcode the music with a digital recording program.

I have used yahoo music unlimited for six months with my x50v. It has worked great (except for slow transfers). However, I think what your problem is with is WM5. When i put WM5 on my 50v, YMU didnt work. However, when i go back to 2003se, it works great. I have talked to dell about this and they said something like "this is a known problem and will be addressed in a future update."

I dont know when this update will be out.

NOTE:
there is some way you can fix it, but it is a huge hassel. You can transfer like 10songs at a time, then you need to unhook the USB cord from your cradle and rehook it up to transfer 10 more songs.

launchcast

Anyone figure out how to do launchcast streaming to your pocketpc? I've used the netfront browser and changed the id to say it was IE6 but the music player seems to fail out
