Windows Media Connect

Is there anyway to get my axim to be a client for a windows media connect server? I would love to access all the music/video/photos on my PC w/o having to download them to my axim.

You can stream multimedia from your desktop using Windows Media Encoder or ORB. On the Axim, you would use the Internet, Windows Media Player or TCPMP. You can also wirelessly access network shares.

Yes, just right click on the folder, and hit share....Then type in "\\computer name" in the address bar in tcpmp....Then you can easily access them...

I appreciate the help but I am looking specifically for a WMC app. I know there are a number of ways to access my music over my network, however I dont want to run a different program for every device. Doing so would 1) reduce the performance of my host computer and 2) put that computer at risk since more ports would be open. Security is a huge concern for me because I am forced to run a WEP rather than WAP on my wireless network due to compatability issues with some of my wifi devices.

Since Im already running WMC, I would like to use a program that could access my WMC server. I would think a WMC would be supported in a media player since WMC is fairly common nowadays. If this is not possible, is there a way to access a SAMBA share?

Same question here. I want to stream music to my X50v with Windows Media Connect.

Doesn't look like it's going to work, though. I can't even get WMC to see the Axim.
