HI i am trying to get TV on my PDA I have wifi at home and would like to watch tv on my Axim. I have seen a CF TV card on sale but it is analogue not digital. Is there a digital CF or SD card out there???

you have two options:
1. pc with tv tuner card streams channel to your Axim thru wifi.
2. CF or SD card on Axim, without need of PC.

analogue is ok as long as your area has(most likely) analogue tv signals.

Thanks Steve.

In Britain the authorities will be turning off the analogue TV broadcast system in a couple of years so dont want to splashout on a analogue card. Have you heard of anyone bringing out a digital one. or is there any web sites that stream live tv so i dont have to go through my PC.
Many thanks

Richard

If you have a TV card in your home PC (or want to explore the option) you can try ORB.com.

there's also slingbox (if it's available where you're at), orb.com, and a couple of others that will allow you to watch your TV by streaming it from your home network.

I wrote this how-to up last year. I'm still using it, works great!

HOWTO: Streaming TV to your Pocket PC and change channels!

Definatly not something you will want to do if you've never used linux.

It can be done on Win32 as well. I just made a post on DVBowners about it: http://forums.dvbowners.com/index.ph...15&t=5234&st=0

but how do you get it connected? I thought there was no cable card support for any pcs yet, or do you have to connect it from your box firewire?
