Does anyone have any idea why the DivX codec will not show up in the compression options in VirtualDub? (I have downloaded it.) Did I miss something?

Does it show up in the video codec properties from device manager?



and does it show up in add and remove programs from the control panel?



If it doesn't you probably need to reinstall the codec and if it does you might try reinstalling VirtualDub.

I reinstalled Divx and it still doesn't show up in either of those menus. Could it be because I snuck around the fact that I don't have "administrator rights"?
