How to transfer music files

Would someone please school me in the proper way to transfer downloaded music from my PC to the X50V. I keep getting the error message "could not copy whatever file.wma to the portable devise. The file is unsupported. Thanks

Try syncing with WMP on your desktop. (WMP10 would be your best bet for that... go to the "Sync" tab and go from there.)

I never had an issue... but as AKAJohnDoe mentioned, I use a card reader.

The other option might be to look in Active Sync > tools > options > Rules > conversion settings and disable the conversion while you are copying files.
