You can get the Macromedia Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC 2002 at:

http://www.macromedia.com/software/f...ayer/pocketpc/

Its free and works with most Flash content.

the player won't show up under "programs" and when i try to associate an .swf with it, only the Macromedia folder shows up, and won't allow me to choose the actual program.

Search this site for a link to an app called FlashAssist. It will allow the Flash animations to be played. The Macromedia app allows for flash files to be run, but doesn't actually have a "player" you can use.

IIRC, all your .swf's will need to be put in one of your "My Documents" folders, either on-board or on one of your memory cards.
