What the heck is that supposed to mean? I uninstalled and reinstalled twice.

Uninstall, Softreset the PPC and reinstall. It may work after.

Are you trying to use AutoGK with DivX 6.1??

If so, you can't. AutoGK nolonger supports the latest DivX incarnation. As according to the AutoGK developer DivX have meesed him about one too many times.

Ahh yes thats it thank you so much. Now where might I find an older version of DivX?

I now use Xvid that comes with the AutoGK installation. The results are just as good. There are a lot more options for Xvid in AutoGK (CRTL+F9).

How do I make AutoGK use Xvid? Just uninstall DivX?

From the main screen under the label "Step 4:" there is a button
"Advanced Setting" click this and you then get the following screen. Two options on the lower left side Xvid and DivX.

I'm currently looking at re-encoding a lot of my films as I used to own an iPaq 2210 320x240 screen size. Everything was encoded to those parameters. Now of course with an X51v I want 640x480.

My PC will chugging away a couple of nights to re-encode All the LOTR EE DVDs.

It will be worth it
