x51v Media player viedeos

Hi!

i have a x51v. wich format of videos supports the media player?
i tried to load some mpeg but it not works? it supportsonly divx & xvid?

can i install some viedeo codecs on my PDa to support all files? like on a desktop computer?

or I need specific programms to watch all videos?

Install TCPMP...
(its an excellent free media player that will play most formats)

Media player plays .wmv videos and microsoft streams. Only the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) can add codecs. Pocket TV is another freeware player that supports .mpg/.mpeg files.

psionandys reply TCPMP is the one that supports those formats. It will do .wmvs and microsoft streams if you change the video driver to Raw Framebuffer but that driver doesn't take advantage of the 2700g video chip in your device.

Alas, it doesn't appear to support an MPEG4 AAC Audio decoder and says it was "removed due to intellectual property considerations."

Any workarounds or other recommendations?

That was in some other thread recently. I believe that the response was "google is your friend".
