I'm curious, you seem well equipped to test this yourself, why not just try it! :) (I don't have mine with me at the moment, so I can't test it myself.) I can't see why Hotmail wouldn't work, I know Yahoo works ok. As for the games, I don't know, but since many are written in Java, this might be an issue. Plus I'm guessing PIE wouldnt scale them to fit the Axim screen even if it did load up.:)

Tried it -- not happening. PIE won't open the lobby. You can get as far as choosing the lobby, but you cant get any further. Prob because of the java and because PIE won't open daughter windows.

Anyone out there in Aximland know of a browser that will work with java-based web games?

Microsoft Hotmail does work on Pocket Internet Explorer. It looks like Microsoft has made a special version for Pocket PC, because the website is simplified and formatted to fit a small screen.

You can access a majority of the personalized Yahoo content with your browser on the Axim. You can read and send e-mail. You can get stock quotes based on your portofolio but not detailed quotes.

I use it all the time with my WiFi card. Nothing like reading e-mail, watching TV and sitting on the couch. :D I wish there were more WiFi hotspots in the neighborhood!

I sync my e-mail with my outlook on my laptop, so I've never tried to set up Outlook to read POP3 or anything else. So, I am not sure if or how that would work with Yahoo. I do know Yahoo will work with a POP3 client if you upgrade you e-mail account.

will Flash Games work on the PPC with the Pocket pC 2002 flash plugin?

Most Flash stuff works just fine, though if the content is not specifically PPC oriented, I would highly suggest downloading the source .html and .swf and editing the .html for a PPC screen, etc.

Width=240 Height=167 seems to work well for me. Oh, and use center tags around it too.
