Hi there,
there is a convenient way to transfer TS-streams (as generated from most hard disc recorders, e.g. the Dreambox) and other formats to a PocketPC:

The freeware program mpeg_streamclip (http://www.alfanet.it/squared5/streamclipwindows.html) converts TS-streams in several audio and videoformats, e.g. MPEG4.

On a PocketPC, this can be viewed with the freeware Core Pocket Media Player (http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about). Note that when converting with mpeg_streamclip, use Apple Compressor as Encoder and AMR Narrow as the sound format.


One click, and your VCR recording can be viewd on a PocketPC! It's even possible to cut the material with mpreg_streamclip!
