I've never really seen much difference between them. I just use the PDA profile with the default settings. Set it to XVID and it looks great on my X51V.

what dimension size do you use? Is there anyway to get stereo sound, it seems to be set to mono.

I've only done this once but I picked VGA in landscape mode. I followed the tutorial but since my new 2 gb SD card wasn't here yet I chose video quality at 29 or 30, and an audio quality down in the low range (can't remember the number) and PocketDivx switched from stereo to mono at some point as I went down the quality scale. In any case I got a 2 hour movie to fit on a 512 GB SD card and it looks fine. I haven't tried headphones so can't judge the audio quality at the low settings I needed to get it to fit. I also plan to make another copy at higher settings to a 2 GB CF for comparison.
