uh, i thot wmp plays asx files... aren't they playlists... does gs player play them?

i use TCPMP for .asx files, its not automatic but you go settings, file assosciations and check the nessacary box. For some reason my streamed video plays much bigger in TCPMP than in wmp.

ASX is the playlist format of WMP9 and lower - i.e. the WMP9 on older devices supports it, too.
The playlist format as such is supported by MortPlayer, but that helps only if it contains MP3 files, as WMA and WMV aren't supported... | |||

Asx files are just a collection of paths to other media. It depends what type of media the asx file contains. If its streaming, mp3 or wma, wmv, wmp will play it. If its anything else, tcpmp can play most of it.
