MPEG players
I have tried pocketTV and pocketMVP, and I cannot get either one to play any of my mpeg files. I tried playing them off a CF and SD card. It just sits there. The pocket tv actually locks up the Axim. Any thoughts?
I am running a 400mhz, A03 ROM, lexar 256 SD and a mr. flash 128 CF card. Thanks for the help

I would suggest reformatting the mpeg into AVI using the guide in the multimedia forum, then using PocketMVP to play them. It seems like AVI plays smoother and better on pocket pc's, plus they are smaller in size than the mpeg. I was hesitant to try it at first, but it works great.

Follow Smeg36's advise. Read over and print out the process and follow it. It's very easy to use virtualdub to reencode the mpegs.
I had the same problems. Basically the original mpegs were too "hi-res" for P-TV or P-MVP to handle properly...if they could handle the file at all. After running them through Vdub they play very well and the files are MUCH smaller too. Chris...
