mp3s make Mort and GSPlayer exit; WMP works fine

I ripped a CD into MP3s on my PC. When playing them on my X51v, i plays fine in WMP, but when I try to use MortPlayer or GSplayer, it exits right after loading the songs. What gives?

Are you sure those files are in MP3 and not WMA format? What bitrate do you have them encoded in? Did you add them to a playlist, or are you trying to open them directly using File Explorer?

I am sure they are MP3. They are variable bit rate, medium-high quality. I al trying to open them from within the players. Opening from explorer launches WMP.

Seems like the file could be corrupted; some players play corrupted files better than others. Try ripping the song again with a different codec or using a different ripper.
