Pocket PC Flash sites?

I installed the Macromedia Flash Player (ActiveX) and though I would go to some sites that I visit on my PC that have flash object, but when I tried them they did not work. How limited is the flash player on the Pocket PC? Does anyone know any sites that I could visit with my Axim that I could see the flash object working?

Here's a fun flash game that runs nicely on PPC:

I got my version off of the Macromedia site.

http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/pocketpc/2002.html

Note: The web site says the player is for Pocket PC 2003, but I have WM 5.0 and it works great.

You can copy flash files (.swf) off your desktop to your Axim. Using the pocket pc program SWFht ( http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=731) you can create a pocket pc .htm file that will launch the flash content on pocket ie. One note on SWFht, the program is interface is in Chinese or Japanese. But it's pretty easy to figure out. Just tap the browse button an locate you saved .swf file. select the size of the web preset or custom. VGA PPC own should select custom and enter the Height and Width for web page. After all that just, tap the lower left button to create a web .htm file in the same directory as your flash file. Once that is done yu can cut and paste the .swf file and corresponding .htm file anywhere in your Axim and shortcuts to go in your /windows/start menu/programs files or /windows/start menu/programs/games directory. Tapping on the shortcut will launch pocket ie with you flash page.

****note: .swf file cannot contain any spaces and pocket flash player needs to be installed on you Axim

**** Flash Movie Player is a good desktop program for surfing you Internet explorer cache to find the right .swf files you can identify the right .swf files. There is an menu option for "add IE cache to playlist" the link forthis program is http://www.eolsoft.com You can use this program to play flash games and watch flash content without going online once you have saved the flash content to your hard drive.

I hope this is helpful

Netfront has this option built-in so you can save websites (with swf content) directly on your PPC as you browse.

The "Page Memo" option saves all content to a .mht file that can then be accessed locallyn your PPC (no Internet connection needed)

Simple, easy, and it works...
