the thing is that when using pocketdivxencoder 3.5 you can encode The Second Renaissance Part 1 just fine, but the other have two steams

addictisatit , You could just download DVD Catalyst yourself and convert your videos because it does come with a fully featured 5 Day trial. It is the best ripper/converter out there in my book. Link in my Sig :approve:

i have catalyst but when encoding The Second Renaissance Part 2, there are two streams for audio. the first one is not synced with the video and the second one only decodes only 10 secs. can you tell me what to do in this type of problem

Yes I'm having problems converting them to...It must be the way they are encoded or something because I convert .movs on a daily basis using DVDCatalyst with out a prob

I posted a thread in the DVD Catalyst forums. Appears even the Dev had some issues lately with Quicktime 7 videos and had to use QuickTime pro.

Looking at the video: Audio Stream 1 starts 12 seconds into the movie, Audio Stream 2 is the first 12 seconds. So you need both audio streams.

Why was it done this way..... Probably to give people like us a hard time.

In short it is do-able (with free software) but not easily and quickly.
