I found the animatrix online for free (4 episodes) and im trying to convert them to windows media player format or avi. can anyone help or email me a correctly converted episode?

how are you encoding the movies into wmv. or avi.?

how do you convert mov. to the other formats?

What format is the movies in??? You can try using windows media encoder, or open the video with Windows movie maker, and save it as a .wmv.

its in mov. quicktime, i got pocketdivxencoder which has the audio as two steams, i tryed both, the first sound not synced, the second is the first 10 secs and then nothing. please help

Anybody out their?

Windows Media Encoder won't work. The only option I know about for converting .MOV to .AVI is QuickTime PRO.

What kind of device do you have? VGA or QVGA?

Email is out of the question (file sizes are way too large for standard email). I can however give you place to download them from, but it will take some time to convert....

Converting and testing. Had some distortion to deal with, but I think that's fixed. Took me about an hour to get the settings right... my system is quite upset and DVD Catalyst (gui) wouldn't run, so I had to start the process on one system, then steal the command syntax from there, copy it back to the main system... then I had to tweak it to convert .MOVs properly. Arg!

I defense of DVD Catalyst... a lot of this junk is related to my pc, normally the software works flawlessly.

BTW - I know you were looking for a free application for this conversion, but you should consider DVD Catalyst. Its the app I'm using to do this (for my benefit too), and Mitch deserves the credit. www.pocketdvd.ca (it's cheap!)

Using PocketDivXEncoder 3.5 (Yes I know its out of date) this worked fine.

ROM Updates! Don't talk to me about ROM Updates.

Yea .. give this one a try. It's going to take me a while to get this working right, my system is just to screwed up at the moment to get a consistent video out of it... sorry.

If I can get it working I'll post some details.
