Is there any car audio out there with bluetooth which i can pair with my x51v? I'll like to have my axim act as the source, and output the songs to the car stereo. Hope any of you can help. thx.

I've never seen anything like that before. I would doubt that it exists as well because there are other products that server this function. Why not just use an FM transmitter like this:

I have a belkin FM transmitter and it really doesn't work. The signal streangth is to week. I Drive a Ford Ranger so the antenna is about 4 feet away. Most of the time the radio will not find the transmiter on a seek. When you get it set then the volume has to be turned almost all the way up on the radio to hear anything, then the backgound noise (hiss) is clearly audible. I have experimented with axim volume and placement but it only seems to make things worse.

Hmm... sorry to hear that benots.

I had a Monster FM transmitter for my iPod and it worked fine. I did have to turn it up a little, but it wasn't too bad.

From the reviews I've read, the one I linked to above is actually about the best one on the market. I'm probably going to order it soon. I might post a review.

It looks like a company called 8COM released a BT capable head unit. It seems the BT feature was meant as a means of pairing your cell phone with the head unit for hands free operation.

Until Dell/MS do something about the crappy BT stack, I'm not sure that the Axim would be able to make use of this feature.

Check it out here...

Here is my standard rant on this issue:

A2DP is tailor-made for this. There are scant few Bluetooth enabled decks out there, but to my knowledge they are all for cell phones (i.e. not A2DP).

It is more than an excellent idea, it is an overdue idea. And there's only one reason it hasn't happened yet -- the freakin' iPod. There is no iPod with any sort of wireless capability whatsoever, so solutions aren't geared for it. This is why I despise the "iPod mentality" of dumbing down products and limiting functionality for the sake of popularity. It literally holds progress back.
