It works great on my x51v, seems to run a tad more smoothly than the k version.
I can play all my mp4/aac files just fine, after installing the aac.0.66 plugin.
WM5 OS users should do a soft reset after installing this. Here's what happened on my JasJar:
I like to listen to Shoutcast OTR streams. When I tried I got a http protocol not supported message. I went to the TCPMP file associations page and checked HTTP Protocol and tried again. Same message. So I did a soft reset and lo and behold The Shadow ran with no issues.
Soft reset is more our friend than ever on WM5 devices. ;)

Midi? nope!! Midi requires a mapper, which the PPC doesn't have. I doubt that it would be efficient to set up tons of MBs of good mapping data, and it doesn't look to be in high demand... Maybe an open-source synthesiser one of these days... ASAP is close enough to MIDI tho anyway ;)
My cell phone will play MIDI files, and it's nowhere near as complex as the Axim. Should be a software solution; you don't need to provide all the musical instrument sounds, just the most used. Still might be a tall undertaking, possibly could emulate an old SB16 for this purpose.
I was never a big atari fan. I'll pass on the trip down memory lane. But I bet game developers are loving it.

There are plenty of Pocket PC Midi Players. TCPMP just isn't one of them.

Where can you find the aac.0.66 plugin. I couldn't find it and my .mov files don't have sound.

GSPlayer has a MIDI plugin, and it sounds fine. Only a couple of megs for the instrument set; not that bad bearing in mind that it sounds better than your average cellphone. :)
I'm actually astonished that ASAP came first... maybe Picard is a retro chiptune fan like me :)
