Memory card & music

I was wondering approximately how many songs I can get on a card. I used windows media player on desktop to rip 6 songs to a 64mg sd card. The sound is great but only six would fit. I am using a Axim x50v with WMP. Is this about right or am I doing something wrong?

This is about right. There are many variables. To get more songs on the card, go to Tools, Options, Rip Music tab in WMP desktop. Make format "Windows Media Audio" and lower the bit rate slider. In WMP 10, it shows how many mb per cd.

Yeah, your not going to get too many songs on a 64mb card.... You can pickup 256MB cards for around $20, 512MB Cards for $30, and occasionally a 1GB card for $45-50. (CircuitCity had a 2GB card last weekend for $80)
